For the love of “Pap Tjaa Djandak”

Meaning Mother Country in the language of the first people of Djab Wurrung and Dja Dja Wurrung country. An exhibition embracing the beauty of Pap Tjaa Djandak and all her creations.

The pictures made by Troy Bailey are made with deep respect for the first people of this land who maintain the oldest living culture in the world.

As the original custodians, there is much to be learnt from their sustainable land management practices, showing deep respect for Pap Tjaa Djandak, all her creations including each other.

Evidence is compounding that modern ways of living are destroying our Mother Earth and her people.

Hopefully the beauty in these pictures will inspire us all to take better care of our mother and each other through proactive actions, towards positive sustainable outcomes, today and into the future!

This can be done by learning more about the true history of this country and supporting these two indigenous led community groups.

60% of money raised through artwork sales, will be donated to these two groups.
